Default "WTF was that popping?!?!?"

so please watch the video and look at the pic, this started out of no where, I need to fix this on the super cheap side(low income) and fast.

hit the brakes at a stop light and u feel and hear a popping sound, same when u turn. when on the brakes it pulls hard right. I shot pics and video of the front driver side wheel where this was happening, I just dont know what Im looking at

CV Axle is busted. That is where the green grease has come from. The CV axle will need to be replaced, or at least the boot I believe. A new CV axle from Advanced Auto is about 70 bucks, and you can find the information on how to replace it around here on the forum, good luck!

CV axle?

Granted, the CV axle may have incurred some damage as a consequence, but the real problem is the upper control arm. As the 'newbie' stated - a broken (or loose) bolt. It should move up and down - not move side to side like it is. It could also be a worn bushing, or an eccentric mounting hole. I would focus on the upper control arm first, then examine the cv axle and replace the boot or axle if needed.

CV boot is busted leaking grease. As the video shows, you have a problem with the upper control arm rear pivot. You will have to remove the control arm to assess the damage. It looked like the bolt moved with the control arm so the arm itself may be ok and you may have just lost the nut and cam plate (adjustment for caster/camber).

THIS DIAGRAM & associated parts list shows the cam (item #12).
