This is the part I ordered, its for a 1500 series truck. I will be getting it tomorrow, according to USPS website. I'm pretty sure I will be modifying it, but I'll wait and see what it looks like when I receive it.

Both sides access are the same, the drivers side has the rubber cover coming down, and the passenger side has (2) slits in it that you bend to gain access. at least mine did, but its possible someone added that at some point in time while changing the shocks.

Well mission complete. I wasn't going to do them but I did them anyway.

I couldn't get an adapter fitting for the shocks so I ended up using the stock air line kit. All wrapped up nicely in some split loom I had laying around. Did a leak test everything looked good. Letting it sit now for 12 hours and checking the pressure again in the morning. The exhaust is a little close on the one side, maybe 1.5" of space.

Drive test tomorrow!

The only thing I would like to do is add another "T" and tie the two T's together with some kind of 1/4 turn valve.

LS input --- T----Hand Valve -----T---- RS input. This would allow you to fill both equally when the valve was open and adjust individually when it is closed. Also I read that you can get a lot of sway if the two sides aren't isolated.

NICE WORK!! How come yours looks so much cleaner than mine? That split loom is a good idea, next time i'm at HD I think i'll pick some up. So what did you do about the length? Did the total distance exceed the full extension of the shock?
Yeah I got the kit so I can fill each side individually;
Amazon Amazon
.

One thing I like about it is the Brass fittings. I searched high and low for just the fittings but couldn't seem to find them sold individually, just a kit.

I looked around today and really couldn't find any components sold individually. It seems to be fairly proprietary too, so not super excited about that.

I still haven't measured the shock yet, forgot to when it was unweighted on the jacks. I'm really not worried about less than an inch of length. I did add two washers and a nut up top, that's just under half an inch there. Seems like a minor difference to me.

Split loom and zip ties! Especially with that damn exhaust so close. I spend a fair bit of of time on routing etc. I left a large coil on top of the gas tank because I am going to install a 2" body lift I can shorten after the lift is done.

The truck probably does need new springs, maybe next year. This mod made it ride 100% better. Between more spring power and better dampening it was a pleasure to drive again. The front end is going down in a few weeks too. (o:
