Default Zr2 Shocks on stock???

Ok I did a 2" suspension lift on my jimmy, coil over in the rear and I need shocks back there. Will Zr2 Shocks work since the Zr2 is already 2-3 taller than stock? Are the shocks on the Zr2 longer than stock ones?

I'm confused??? If you did a coil over in the rear why do you still need shocks back there. A coil over is a shock. What did you use to get the 2" of lift?

oh, my mistake, I thought a coil over was when you put a coil spring over the axle, not the shock. My bad, but yeah I have a coil spring over the axle

You can use the ZR2 shock. When I worked in parts, in Monroes catalogue it actually listed the ZR2 shock as a "performance upgrade" for a stock blazer.

Well thats interesting! Yeah you will be fine with the Zr2 shocks back there. So it that a kit you bought or something? I'm still a bit confused on its purpose unless its for helping to handle the load if you pull a trailer alot or something. Or is it just for the lift? If so how much di you actually gain with it.

Yeah they have it at AutoZone, and its ment for trailering, so its a two for one for me, lifted the rear up about 2-3 inches to level it out. I didnt want to do shackles because I was doing a body lift and I didnt want to go through the hassle of putting an add-a-leaf on, so I just got these haha.

So what is that rear lift spring called exactly? I couldn't find it at Auto Zone.
