CRAZY 3 HOUR DRIVE

CRAZY 3 HOUR DRIVE
I went down to get a car I had recently purchased (1975 Chevy Monza 4.3L V8) and when I got there I found out that the back tires were flat. Which they weren't last time. So we put it up on the tow dolly and cinched the back tires down as hard as we can. Well the whole 3 hour drive home I could not go over 40-45 mph because the monza would start fish tailing the rear end of my blazer (totally sucked). But in the end the Monza made it safely home and my new project car has begun.
I must say I was very happy with the blazer and its ability to pull the tow dolly back under control.............I was half-tempted to drive home in 4WD lol.

RE: CRAZY 3 HOUR DRIVE
good luck with the monza, I had a drag monza roller I bought a few years ago, it was a 10.30 car out of spokane wa. The longer I owned it, the more I lost interest, I wanted a backhalfed s10 truck or blazer to race. I put it up for sale and traded it for my s10 blazer, and $10,000 later I am almost there!!!!! good luck with the monza

RE: CRAZY 3 HOUR DRIVE
my father in law uses his 97 blazer 4x4 for towing all the time. i use it to tow his boat when we are going out on the lake and he occasionally uses it to tow vehicles from the salvage auctions back to his house. it performed well for like a year till he dropped the tranny and had to have it rebuilt. it now tows better than it did stock and it has a tranny cooler. not a bad vehicle at all.
