Let's see...

Lafayette has a sound ordinance on the books.

You had your stereo blaring AND saw the cop knowing he had to hear you.

You brag about rattling stuff on the walls where you get your hair cut.

You tried, with no success, to have the ticket taken care of by some other cop friends.

You complain that the cop who pulled you over should be out enforcing the law rather than giving you a ticket.

And, for some reason I can't quite comprehend, you are pissed?

Man up, pay the fine and turn down your music. Seems pretty basic to me.

Thats just me bra, go and pay it if you want. The extra money is probably the court sir-charge. I think it is about $80 for a sir-charge here.

Ya gotta keep them JL's under control! JL Audio FTW!

Maybe you missunderstood me. What I was trying to say was I think a police officer should be trying to stop worse things then worrying about pulling people over for loud music. Yea maybe I should man up and pay the ticket but not when everything in the system is so confusing. Instead of trying to make me look bad in a post, maybe you should read and understand where I'm coming from.

...and I think this one has pretty well run its course. *Thread Closed* before things get out of hand.
