built ford tough with chevy stuff

Angry built ford tough with chevy stuff

hi people:i just put 1975 blazer 4x4 suspension in my 63 ford pu.I used the ford frame but everthing from the steering column down is blazer.The steering does not work right,i can not get the wheels to come back to center on there own.Some help would be nice

Sounds like the adjustment on the steering gear box is too tight. Were the parts new or used?

Make sure the castor angle is correct. If the front axle was installed with shims or if it is installed in a way that causes the pinion to angle up at all from stock, then the castor angle will not be enough to center the tires after a turn.
