Default custom Lift question

Im wondering if i could lift the rear of the truck by moving a spacer on one of the mounts. It's the rear mount for the rear springs. There's a spacer type thing that connects the leaf springs to the mount on the frame. It looks like i can take that spacer out and directly connect the springs to the mount. Do you think this would work?

That is a shackle. You need the shackle so the springs flex. You can instead, reverse it, or you can move the axle from under the springs and put it on top of the springs. But don't remove the shackle.
