Default 1993 K1500 4x4 front end rebuild-need help/resources

I just purchased a bone stock 1993 K1500 and it needs balljoints on the right side. I have other vehicles I can drive while I wrestle with this one and I would like to do a complete front end rebuild. Where can I buy a complete kit? What are some good resources or links on how to do all of this and what tools are required? Are there any other parts I should inspect or replace while I am down there? Please pardon my ignorance as the only other 4x4 I have owned was a 1976 Jeep CJ7. Thank you.

Your parts list is going to potentially consist of the following:
  • Ball Joints (upper & lower)
  • Control Arm Bushings (upper & lower) - inspect for cracks or oil emulsion (bulging rubber)
  • Tie Rod Ends (inner & outer) - inspect for play
  • Pitman & Idler Arms - inspect for play
  • Sway Bar End Links & Mounts - inspect for cracks, broken components, and/or oil emulsion

Energy Suspension should have a kit for the control arm bushings as well as one for the sway bar. The steering rebuild (inner/outer tie rod ends, pitman & idler arms), should be off the shelf at your nearest autoparts store as will the ball joints.

While you are in there doing all of this work, it would be a good time to inspect the front CV shafts and the front wheel bearings.
