Default How to tell what suspension set up I have?

I just got my 99 Blazer 4x4 LS 4dr and I'm trying to figure out which set-up I have. Is there any way to tell? I've got about 116k miles on her and I'm sure she's about due for some suspension loving. Any help woulf be greatly appreciated!

Well, by suspension setup, what do you mean?

With a 4x4 you have a torsion bar independent front suspension and a leaf spring rear live axle.

Beyond that, what else would you like to know?

Do you have Bilsteins? Or the deCarbon (ZQ8?)gas shocks.
I think he wants to know if he has the Z85 or ZQ8 suspension.

I believe the ZQ8 is 4x2 only. "Sport" suspension with a slightly lower ride height.

At 116k assuming th previous owner has not done anything to the suspension, when should I expect to replace anything?

Got to summit racing.com and search your vehicle. They will lead you in the right direction. I would go with Bilstien lik 56 buck a shock. Also check out truckperformance.com do the same search with your vehicle type.

The front sway bar links/bushings were beat on mine at 73k miles. The usual, lower ball joints, idler arm, outer tie rods.
Depends on ones driving habits.
