well i got kind of stupid and tried to stop from 70-0 in about 50 ft.. while bustin a right turn... and of course i didnt make it.. i thought i had bear brakes.. but i forgot i just got my stocks.. but any way.. i hit the curb and flew like 5 ft.. my rim cracked on the lip.. and my steering wheel is almost at vertical.. like 80 degrees off.. it was like 15 degrees wen i got it.. i put the spare tire.. and wen i drive the truck goes to the left.. and there is a grinding noise, its the brakes.. when i try to tur the wheel by hand, it slows more at a certain point.. i cheked for cracks, bends, or messed up stuff in the suspension, and it all looks good.. im not a mechanic, but tmrw im takin it to one..
what do u think got messed up??
about how much u think it will cost me??
ill pos pics of the rim.. its pretty badd

If the steering is at an angle, you had to have really wacked the alignment way out. Most likely you knocked the camber out as well and possibly bent the lower control arm. Lucky for you to have a 2wd cause it would be more expensive to fix with a 4wd.
If it were me, I wouldn't drive it unless ABSOLUTELY necessary as you don't know how bad things truely are underneith. If you can, get it to an alignment shop (Midas, Monroe, etc) where you can get a free suspension/alignment inspection to get the most-likely long list of things wrong with the front end of your truck.

***UPDATE***
1. well i kinda figured out i hit the kurb maybe FASTER.. bt that dont matter, it passed already...
2. a couple days ago i took my truck to get it ALIGNED, and they COULDNT...
3. they just told me that the lower control arm is BENT and CRACKED at the welds....
4. yesterday i took it to a body shop to CHECK the CHASIS....
5. conclusion... some what DAMAGED.... you decide, my estimate is at $1,200... about 15 hrs of LABOR!!!
what u guys think????

Might as well have the mech's install some polyurethane bushings in there. (upper, lower A arms.....both sides of the vehicle.)
