If all you'd be using is the frame and suspension then it might work, but it's a whole ton of work to swap your drive train and body over, just for 2 inches of lift, and a bit wider? why not just lift your truck as is, pull the fender flares, or even the front fenders complete and go from there? It would be a ton easier for the same price.
I already have a body lift, 1.5in lift shakles with torsion tweak, front fenders and rear flares off a ZR2, mounted a spare tire rack and put 31's on it. the point of the swap is for a little more lift to fit 33/10.5/15's, a tougher frame and suspension, two more inches of width and 3.73 gears instead of 3.42... plus i feel like a fraud! i want the real deal haha
Yes the tires did rub slightly when the tires were turned at a certain angle and the steering stops were built up to prevent frame rub. There was zero rubbing when on the street, but as you can tell the blazer does get used off road.
As for the bumper, yes it was cut in half and a winch mount was made for the center. I then trimmed and re attached the sides of the factory bumper.
