dude? do you read the stuff we post for you?
again, as stated in your "zr2 rims" thread, and by everyone here: BUY a ZR2 if you want one.
the cost of a 5" SL and the neato-mosquito coolguy whizz-bang doo-dads and other Dr. Seus what-nots you will strap to it to make it the mean off road machine you envision will cost you the same as a 99-01 Zr2 if you shop around enough
granted with 6" SL, 2" BL, and a sawzall you can fit a lot bigger tires than stock 31's but... c'mon...
ANYWAY as asked: yes leafs will fit
no you wont gain height because they are mounted differently on zee are twos
yes you will gian height if your current leafs are sagging
t bar is not the only suspension piece that is direct fit, but i use "suspension" to mean more than just shocks and leafs...
if the vehicle has torsion bars, then those bars are indexed so that they can be raised/lowered/set through the use of a bolt-through-key. turn bolt to move th

So do your body lift and get bigger tires. Theres no point in converting TO a ZR2 if your planning on getting one. For the parts that do "bolt" on, your not gonna gain anything significant. With a body life ($200) lift Shackles ($20-$whatever) and the torsion bars (+Crank) off the ZR2 you will be able to fit a nice size tire (31's). Do the gears as well and there you go. A nice, strong, more mud-able Blazer!
If your not going to be mudding, i suggest leaving it stock. Your a college guy and every ounce of money help right. Well lifted, bugger tires will make you MPG suffer a bit. A bit here, and a bit there will soon turn into alot down the road.
Sorry for the story and I don't mean to come across rude. But making something (4dr stock blazer) onto something its not (ZR2) is sometimes way outta the question and not worth the hassle.

you can put leafs from a zr2 in yours but it probably wont do anything. The reason ZR2s sit higher is because they have a different frame not a suspension lift.

alright im thinking of just redoing the suspension just cause it needs it.might as well put in bigger and better. on the t bars i saw on the guy that swapped his out for zr2 had 3 different part #s. so am i right in thinking each zr2 blazers t-bars are going to be a little different on which suspension package they had. mine has this one so i dont want a smooth ride i want a TRUCK RIDE >ZW7CHASSIS PACKAGE,PREMIUM SMOOTH RIDE PREMIUM SMOOTH RIDE CHAS PKG(ZW7)

but you need to proof read man. PLEASE
you want to fix your suspension. awesome.
you want to upgrade it to a bit stiffer. awesome.
each ZR2's t-bars will not be different. re-read that post and see that there are 3 bars offered on BLAZERS zr2 is sinply an upgrade package denoted by an RPO....
"Premium Smooth Ride" is a shock specific RPO refering to the stock self leveling shocks... nothing more. some bushings will refer to :the smooth ride" option, but as far as i can see, are no different (to include size, shape or price)
if you want a more truck like ride: get some air adjustable shocks and set them high, get larger front bump stops, put a spring helper on your rear leaf springs, add an add-a-leaf to each rear leaf, get run-flat tires (with rubber inserts, not self inflation), get a heavy duty sway bar. add traction bars, get stiffer ball joints, and recplace all body bushings with stiffer urethane ones.... <--- that should be fairly truck like

*to clarify i was trying to say above that each zr2 is going to have a different suspension pkg based on factory specs.
