wow. now i feel bad. that was a very clear response

yes. based on other RPO's, the ZR2 you find as a doner could have some variants over others

dont feel bad about its alot harder to explain on this than if we were there looking at it. its also hard to explain something when your not entirely sure about it.<(my case here) and the vin # should be able to tell me what type it is

skip the vin, and pop the glove box. on the inside of the door there is a sticker with RPO codes. they will tell you stuff about the truck you plan to get doner parts from they read like this:
clicky then scroll to the bottom of the page.

alright thanks for the info on finding the rpo codes. one last dumb question. i've heard of some guys running 30.9 and having less rubbing problems. now my tires are stock 235/17R/15
what would a 30.9 end up being the equivalent to the (235 number)
cause when im looking online they want the 3 number sequence and i dont know what that would be for a 30.9 or a 31. thanks and sorry about the dumb questions

not a dumb question. tires are an S of a B to figure out at first...

265/70rXX is as close as i think common numbered tires get to 30x9.5 (which i believe you meant.)
30.9 is 31
