im not sure, but i think it was just basic tools. i can't think of any specialty tools needed to do the job. just wrenches, hammer, sockets, allen wrench (i think a 3/8), jack, and stands. a torque wrench would probably be a good idea too. and some wheel bearing grease. thats all i can think of, i did it so long ago, so i might be forgeting something, but i remember it was really easy. just take your time and double check everything when you are done.

ok so do they come with directions like the spindles and blocks or do i have to look that up on line. Thanks for the input

Don't forget to bleed the brakes!
you don't have to if you don't disconnect the brake line. just unbolt the calipers and use some mechanics wire to tie them up out of the way so they don't dangle by the lines.

I used to work at a lube/oil shop and everytime we turned the rotors and changed pads, we bled the brakes. Maybe we never had to but we just did it as an extra precaution. I'm just going by the experience that I've had.
