Default shackles from autozone?

click me

so i was wondering if anyone has experience with these, if they are worth $18 USD, and if anyone knows how much of a lift i could get on them. i have no clue about anything about shackles or the suspension, so i could have a friend help me that knows. just saw other shackles for $50+ and figured what the hell, ill find out about these before i get them.

i dont think their replacements, as they say lift / lower shackles. anyone know if their worth it?? thanks

I would question the quality of the bolts used. If you are too rough on them they may not fair so well.

personally i don't like em at all no cross support to keep the 2 sides together, and at that cheap I would definitely have to question how long they would hold up. When it comes to suspension parts im a firm believer in paying a little extra for a known brand/quality.

my friend has a 92 sonoma just for the trails that he beats the s**t out of. Anyway he bought 2 sets of these shackles and doubled them up and used the extra bolts in the center holes for more strength and he hasnt had a problem yet.

They just look cheap..

You could probably just get the same metal stock from Lowes for cheaper. Theyre raise or lowering shackles because they just have a bunch of holes drilled, and you put the bolt where you want it to go.

As far as I know, if you want shackles in the immediate future, either an ebay seller or 4 Wheel Parts will be your best bet.
