once spring rolls around i plan on installing a 3/4 drop and in the rear im goin with blocks, but for the front wat would be a better way to go? is it just a matter of preference or is there a significant differnce between springs and spindles? also one more question, ive got duals running out the back and if i lower the rear will i need to redo my exhuast or will it be alright?

I don't know much about the front suspension on a 2WD but I would think spindles would keep the tires/wheels aligned better. I know on 4WD, when you lift or lower, the control arms cause the angle of the wheels to change. I would think new springs on a 2WD would be similar to cranking tbars on a 4WD (as far as wheel geometry goes)
For your exhaust, just check to make sure there's sufficient clearance between the axle and exhaust pipe.

If you go with drop spindles, the ride quality won't change and you're alignment won't be affected too much, but it's still advised to have it aligned. The only downside to this is that if your rims have a small enough diameter they may rub on your lower control arm. But if you're runnin on anything bigger than stock i'd say you'll be fine. But you may have trouble finding 3" drop spindles. 2" is you're normal drop spindle.
If you go with drop springs, the ride quality may be affected (depends on the quality of the drop springs) and the shortened height will mess up your alignment and you'll HAVE to have them aligned. Plus you'll need to get drop shocks to replace your stockers. Finding a 3" drop spring is no problem at all. DJM and belltech are good brands to look for.
just make sure you have enough clearence once you install the blocks and trim down your bump stops and you should be fine.
