Suspension Drop

Suspension Drop
I've got a Ground Force 3"/3" suspension drop kit coming in in a few weeks. So, I got a couple questions about the drop. 1. While my front suspension lay out a little bit wider (like say an inch or more) with the drop or will it stay the same? 2. Who makes a good reasonably priced drop shock for blazers? I opted not to get the ones that normally come with the kit. Your help or suggestions are appreciated.

RE: Suspension Drop
couple of questions about your groundforce kit. im guessing its 3 inch coil springs and 3 inch blocks? if so are the blocks angled? get belltech nitro drop shocks. call Alamo Performance same price as jegs or Summit and they are local to us.

Yeah, it's springs and blocks. I'm not sure about the blocks being angled though. The kit didn't say and the pics were not the exact application.I was thinkingbelltech nitro shocks, or toxic drop shocks, but I wanted the opinion of someone who has a drop. So thanks man! I'll check out Alamo.

when lowering therear 3 inches or more you need angled blocks, the angle keeps the pinion angle aligned. i used all belltech pieces on my drop 5/5 and it rides quite nicely to me.

RE: Suspension Drop
I lowered a friends S-10 for 200 bucks. His block kit had angled blocks. He is a moron though, because he wanted it super low and had no springs or kit for the front. So I heated the springs and dropped the front on the bump stops and the back wasn't low enough for him. So I had to take out all but two of his leaf springs, and it was on the bump stops. It rides pretty crappy and his shock are no good because he didn't change them out. It's really low and looks nice, but rides like crap. Thanks for the advice though, I will check on my kit and make sure they are angled. I chose Ground Force because I had one of their kits before and it rode very nicely, so I had confidence in them already. Belltech was my second pick though, I've used some of their stuff before on an old Ford truck.
