Default Torsion Bar question.

Hi all. I have a 93 Full Size Blazer. When looking at the truck from the side the front-end sits higher. When I go over speed bumps too fast or hit pot holes I notice quite a lot of cluncking noise and bounce. I think that the torsion bars are cracked up because it appears the previous owner had a snow plow. Is there a chart or something to let me know what the stock setting should be on the torsion bar? I am thinking about cranking it down some to see if I can improve the ride and get the truck looking a little more level. Thank you in advance for your imputs.

Just crank them down until the height evens out.

I'd check the other front end parts about the clanking as well because most snow plow vehicles take a lot of abuse in the front end

Thanks for the tips. The front is about two inches taller than the rear so I have some cranking to do. I've already inspected all of the front end parts & suspension which panned out all clear. I think the torsion bar is up too high and hence it is causing the rough ride and noise.

did you check your cv axels they could be clanking as a result of the torsion bars being cranked to high
