That's good news.

Why wouldn't they work?

Other option is to order 31x10.5R15 for it which is equivalent to 265/75R15 but an extremely common size.

I think the majority of ZR2's were spec'd with 31x10.5R15 tires, and there are tons of after market tires in that size.

Why can't they just order you a set of BFG 31x10.5s? They're tires, and it's a tire place, what's the problem?

New tires on, 265's like I wanted, she sits at normal height now, if not highers, and she rides great! They claim it "rubs" but I have only experienced SOME rubbing when wheels cranked all the way.

Well they seem to be HELL BENT sticking to the book. I didn't suggest 31x10.5's, but I was going to if these 265's didn't work.

I've drive two brand new ZR2s home off the lot (2000 and 2001), and both of them, with 100% factory stock brand new 31x10.5 tires, would rub under the right condition. A tiny bit of rubbing is no big deal, and easy to fix if it bothers you. Generally you have to be turned just the right amount, and going in reverse so the nose squats, to get a rub.
