Default 33" On A 97 ZR2 Blazer?

I have a 97 ZR2 Blazer that is completely stock suspension wise. It currently has 31 x 10.50 x 15 tires on it. I'm wondering if I can go to a 33" tire? Seems like it has plenty room and coulda swore I saw same year ZR2 pickup rolling on 33's around town a couple weeks ago. Thanks for any advice or help.

youll need atleast 2" of lift for 33's, but you may be able to get by with 32's with a bit of triming if you choose not to lift.

As mike said you're looking at going up to fit 33". I know the ZR2's are slightly higher then regular Blazers..but 33" are pretty big tires. Try taking a look at 32's as mike mentioned. You might get away with just a bit of trimming.

Thanks and appreciate the answers. Thought with the existing lift I might be able to squeeze them in, so I'll probaly just go with original size.
