Test fit one today. Everything clears on the front side, no sway bar or valance interference, which is what I was most expecting. The backside is a different story. Just barely clipped the bottom of the rear of the fender. A little sheet metal bending took care of that, but it contacts the frame rail pretty good at full lock...

I'll probably mount them out and if it rubs too much under normal driving conditions, I'll think about putting about 1/2 of spacer behind them. If I do that I'm going to have to put about 1 1/2 on the rear to make up the offset that's already there.

Not as bad as I thought. But big off road tires and chrome wheels, IDK, I've got 18 in wheels, and, yes lowered 2in and ain't no chrome on me.

yeah I've always been a hater on chrome wheels with off road tires myself, lol, I make fun of my boss all the time for having a lifted 2010 Silverado with 18" chrome wheels with mud terrains on them. I'll make the call once I get them all mounted up though. I'll have to stand back and see them all on the truck before I decide if I want to paint them or not. maybe not full on black, maybe a gunmetal or silver, maybe I'll just get them installed and take a photo and photoshop some different colors and see lol. who knows, maybe I'll actually like the chrome

On your truck the chrome doesn't look terrible, although I'm not a chrome person either. If you plastidip them then you can always just peel it off when you decide to sell the rims down the road.

that was my thoughts exactly

I plastidipped some Tundra wheels for my Tacoma I use to have and before I sold it I peeled it all off and made the wheels look like brand new factory again

those were my "street tires". you can see the Mickey Thompson MT's to the bottom right in the last picture that I had on it before. I didn't want to wear them down so fast by just rolling them on pavement... pricey little buggars...

sometimes I wish I could convert this Blazer to a full size GM 6 lug pattern... would open up SOOOOO many options for wheels...

You'll need to space out more than a 1/2" I bet. I just put 16" Camaro wheels on with the same size tires and I rubbed the frame pretty bad and I think the wheels are the same spec 16x8 55os. I could only get 1 1/8 turn out of the steering wheel either way before it rubbed. Turning was a joke in parking lots...you'll need to space them out. I was bored and notched out the frame and welded it up, but now I just nick the sway bar at full lock since the frame is out of the way. I ordered some 5mm spacers for the front and 1.5" adapters for the rear to match the front track better.

BTW, The chrome happens to look good IMO.

lol if I only had the time and money! I'd LOVE to 4 link a solid axle under the front of it. hell, and 4 link the rear while I'm at it!

yeah that's what I'm afraid of... and I'm not about to notch my frame just to clear some tires lol. what's the smallest spacers that can go on the front? (the adapter style that have they're own new studs) I'd like to stay around an inch wider for the front on either side. How much difference is there between the front and rear width on either side, 3/4 inch? I think if I go too far I'm going to run into issues hitting the front valance and bottom right of the fender... might end up being a whole project at once, wheel spacers AND about 1 1/2 of lift via shackles and torsion bar adjustments :P

Either do some more research before commenting or stop commenting on anything off road related. You might know drag racing but you obviously don't know off road.

4 links are king of the hill when it comes to off-roading. The majority of hardcore off road buggies run 4 link suspensions front and rear.
