your stock ones have 6" so you should stay as close as possible. jigg's synergy offroad has some from american racing. but if you want other ones then you can get ones with 4.5" bs and have a little scrub problems.

i forgot the website for jigg's shop

Backspacing is actually pretty simple. Its a depthmeasurement from the the inside lip of the wheel the mating surface of the hub. What the means is that if you were to make an imaginary line across the back surface of the rim and then from the center point of that measure to the inside face of where the wheel mounts to the hub, thats your back spacing. Stock on 4x4 blazers is 6", 2WD is 4". The less back spacing you have the more the tires will stick out, the more back spacing you have, the more the tire will move inward.

Is the backspacing the same on both axles? Im just trying to get a little wider stance and put some fender flares on, so am I correct in assuming that putting rims on with say a 4in BS would show another 2 in of tread?

yes the backspacing is the same for every wheel front and rear left and right. i am going to get 4.5" back spacing myself on my new rims because i want a little wider stance and i am also getting a body lift and shackles for the back. do you already have a lift or are you thinking about one? because with 4.5" backspace i would recomend atleast some shackles and cranking your t-bars up or you will rub with 31's if not prolly even 30's

As long as you stay with 7" wide wheels. If you get 8" wide wheels, it'll be 3" of tread. 10" wide wheels, 5" of tread (all with 4" bs)

Ok, how about this one? 8"wide wheel with 255mm tread (10.03937 inches) with 6" backspacing and 20mm offset. Will the wider wheel make the tire stick out 1" (for 1" more than stock 7" wheel and 235mm tread at 9.251969 inches) since it's the same backspacing as stock?
