big rims=big disc brakes????

ok so when i get my 20 inch rims am i at risk of warping my brakes or having problems with them i know that itll be harder to slow down and everything but would it need like sport brakes or would stock be sufficient. thanks

Upgrading your brakes is ALWAYS a good idea. Your braking distance is going to suffer big time with those big wheels, ESPECIALLY if you've got drums out back.

Your braking system is design to stop your truck, plus 5,000 pounds in a trailer.
Sure big tires, rims have some effect. But not a big effect. I am running 33" tires and have NOT noticed much difference in stopping power, and this is on a 20 year truck running the stock disc brakes up front, and stock drums in back.
