Default Cooper Tires

I am looking for a more agressive tire than my Dunlop Radial Rovers. Has anyone had any problems with Cooper STT's? And would i be able to clear 31x10.50r15's, or will i have to stick with the 30x9.50's? Thanks for your help!

I see youve got an add a leaf...you'll need another inch of lift in the back, and a 2' tbar crank up front to get 31x1050s to fit.

And the STTs are amazing tires. I want them.

Oh I am. In a my perfect world I have a set of AT2s and STTs. It was Hanr3's thread on tire fitment that piqued my interest. Theres just some terrain the AT2s will fail miserably in, and I dont wanna take MTs on the road

The Coopers STT are excellent tires, and Cooper is the ONLY tire manufacture that is American owned and produces tires in the US. Everyone else is either foriegn owned or produced overseas and shipped here.

The Cooper STT are my #2 choice of tires. And your best to stick witht he 30" tires. Will that 1/2" of extra tire really make a differance where you go? Will it be wortht he cost to clear 31" tires?

This truck hasthe Cooper and 3" body lift with about 2 1/2" trimmed off both sides of the fenders to fit 33" tires.

that gen1 looks pretty sexy with those 33 on it. looks kinda like my friend's toyota with 33X10.5 km2. its been kinda hard now to pick a tire. i wanted to get the AT2 b/c i needed new tires. then, i bought my friends 31 (bfg land terrains) but they are starting to dry rot. i have been dead set on the st beacuse i need a good road trie that can sling mud around. but now, from everything i read, the stt will last about as long and are a much better off road tire.now that my friends has the km2s, i kinda looking at them too. haha, the joysof trying to show off to friends

STTs wear great and are fantastic in the mud, sand, rocks, loose dirt...but stay away from snow.

Wait, just remembered the new ones now come with siping so they should be pretty decent in the snow. With siping, they have to be a lot better than my old ones without the siping.

Oh, one last note, I believe Interco is also another tire company that is USowned and the only place they are made is in Louisiana.

That Gen 1 Blazer might LOOK nice... but he needs ALLOT more clearance if he ever plans on attacking anything more serious than a speedbump

Trail tested, clearance wasn't an issue.
Maybe you missed the part about a 3" body lift and 2 1/2" cut out of each fender, front and back of each fender. this tech article is when I had the ST on it.
