Default Correct size tires?

I'm inquiring to see if I can put particular tires on my 2005 Chevy trailblazer LS . The tires in question are LT 265/70/r17. I've been told different answers to this question and I would just like some clarity. Thankyou.

So newguy, would that be a "yes", or a "no"? I've been wondering the same thing. Right now it's running 15's and I wanted to put some 17's on it to take up some space (and it will look a little better). I eventually want an even bigger tire but these would do for the time being.

I'm not sure what Newguy is referring to, but I ran 17"s on my '98...just had a little bit smaller of a tire. I went back down to 15"s to get more meat.

The TS has a Trailblazer, which have different sized tires/lug ratio in relation to the S-Series trucks.

Overall tire size, you have rubbing, a 265/70/r17 measure 32.5 tall and on a offroad vehicles its ugly. Unless your building a Mall cruiser

I just wanted to put a little bit bigger tire on as the ones that are on there look too small.
