2000 4x4 4dr soon to be lifted 2in.

If I was to fit 31x10.5 on stock rim some people say they do rub at full crank, true?
on 15x8in rims with 4in back spacing or with 3.75bs would they also?

What would be the optimum size of a 15in rim in back spacing and width to have no running issues.
I am just trying to plan my budget so I can get some tires and maybe rims after winter.
