Default replacement tires ... can't find them

I'm new at this, so please bear with me. I have a 2002 Chevy Blazer ZR2. I need to replace all four tires. According to the original bill of sale, the tires were 31x10.5/15LT OOR. The BF Goodrich tire sidewall reads P235/70R15 All Season Tires 95H M+S. I cannot find this exact tire anywhere. Could it be that they are no longer manufactured? And if so, how do I figure out the appropriate replacement?

I really like the tires that are on the vehicle, but they are nearly worn out. I'm afraid my lack of knowledge will lead to overspending on the replacement tires. I figure it will run $160-180 each; but some retailers are trying to push me into $200+ tires that have a larger width. I want big tires for my truck, just not *too* big.

Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it.

If it is indeed a ZR2, then the tires should be 31x10.5x15. The P235/70r15 were used on many non-ZR2 Blazers but since ZR2 is the offroad package, larger tires were used.

$200+ seems pretty steep for tires that size. When I was looking for 31x10.5 all terrain tires, many of them were available between $100-150. Check out tirerack.com, they have a pretty extensive survey/reviews section where people rate the various tires and you could see what would work best. They also have fairly low prices and most Discount Tire stores will match their price.

Thanks for the info. The original window sticker (which was left in the glove box) says it's a ZR2, and it has the decal on the rear panels.

I like the idea of sticking to the original issue tires, but I don't go off-roading (not intentionally, anyway; Indiana weather presents it's own 'opportunities').

And I really appreciate the pricing info. I feel more confident in my selections, and I'll start comparison shopping those today. Thanks again Matt!
