Default New Tires and An Expensive Mistake.

I just went and purchased a discountinued tire from walmart Called Gooyear Wrangler Radials used to have them on my other truck and thought they got excellent traction.

The Tires currently on my Blazer are the goodyear Fortera TripleTreads. Let me tell you they work okay on water but are very Overrated and dont peform as advertised. In the Snow they are embarrassing they get absolutely No traction and are rated a 10 out of 10 on Snow/Ice. Not even close.

Many people give these Goodyear Wrangler Radials bad reviews im not sure why i like them.

Any feedback anyone can give me im on a budget for tires here.

they make tires now?!

are you asking for feedback on the tires you BOUGHT or on future tires here?

What kind of Wranglers are they? The RT/S are garbage and should be set on fire in the street leading up to the goodyear plant where they are made so you can scrape the asphalt back and put copious amounts of explosives in the newly exposed dirt. Then use said explosives to blow up the driveway so no other shipments of garbage tires can be sent to the masses.

If they are the wrangler A/Ts then they are better than crap, but dont get a lot lof love as they do not get many good reviews compared to other tires out there.

I personally am still running the same crappy (Primewell anyone?) tires i bought this thing with and dont plan to change them anytime soon until I have to. At that point I doubt very much that I will get Wranglers, BUT if they are doing what you need them to, and you like them, screw everyone else and drive those pigs until the tread falls off

Ha. Excuse the fast typing im at work. GOODYEAR* anyway they are called goodyear Wrangler Radials Thats it not A/T or M/T but they have a very aggressive looking tread pattern but for whatever reason people dont like these tires.

The Only plus i can give my Forteras are the fact that i could drive 80Mph hit a huge puddle and not Hydroplane one bit. Otherwise Snow See Ya Later.

Is this the tire you have? I have a set of these on my 96 and have no problems with them at all. I have taken them off road several times and they go pretty decent in the snow. I'm happy with them. They are quiet on the highway as I take the Blazer on long trips. Granted they are not the most aggressive tire on the road but for an all around they aren't bad.

Those Goodyears from Walmart are great in the snow. I've got them on both my rides and my dad has them on his 97 blazer.

I've not had any luck with Goodyear Wrangler tires. I get too many flats with these during off road trips. I've run Bridgestones without any issues, but now I'm trying a set of BFG KM2.

ive run the radails for over 22000 miles still problys last one more year they are decent in mud and water. They Great in snow alittle noisy on the highway but for 250.00 mounted and balanced for all four cant really go wrong
