noob tire question
#1
just have an issue i wanna get resolved and im sure ill get someone yelling at me to search for it but i want to make sure i get all my questions answered. i have a stock 2000 blazer 4wd 4 door, i do not want to want to put any lift on it, i do not want to crank the torsion bars, or put any shackles on it...so no mods. im wanting to put a bigger tire on and i read that a 245 would fit fine. but i wanna put on a set of good year duratec wrangler with kevlar mud tires and i was thinking of a set of wheels that are 15x8 with 4.5 backspacing cause i want the wide stance. if anyone has any...helpful comments i would like to know thanks

If you want the wider stance, but don't want to lift at all, don't get anything larger than stock 235/75r15. Even then, there have been occasional reports of rubbing issues along the upper or back edges of the front fenders.
If you want to go up to 30x9.5, keep your stock wheels. I don't know of any common 245's that are similar dimensions to the stock sizes.
