anything that performs well in mud is gonna be noisy on the road. tires that perform decent in all aspects ( road, light mud, sand ...etc) dunlop radial rovers , bfg a/t , goodyear wranglers ......etc.
if you want performance in mud you need to look at super swampers .....the SST series isnt to bad about road noise.
