Rim Chabge
#1
Hi sorry to bother if this has been dealt with before.
I had a set of new Hancock winter tires on GMC rims given to me by a friend who had a 2000 Jimmy 4WD. My question is will the rims fit my 1998 Chevy Blazer 2WD. The tire size is exactly the same I have concerns that the rims may not fit though.
Any help would be appreciated
Regards

Hey, so I think there will be an issue, I know when can put 2wd rims on our 4x4 because they stick out... but I think there will be rubbing on the inside because 4wd rims sit inwards... can add some spacer without a problem, or take them to a shop and get them put on your rims...

I'm looking at a set of enkei 15 by 8, 4 inch backset. Does that compensate for the 15 by 7, 6 inch back set? Current rims are bravada stock alloys. I'm not worried about sticking out, I'm worried about caliper clearance and rubbing in...
