Rim size Downgrade
Im running 245/75/16s on my chevy pickup.. I found a set of 15 inch wagon wheels and was wondering what size tire I need to match the 245/75/16s . I always got confused with tiresizes Not sure why

go onto google and type in tire size conversion. there is a web site that will convert your tire size to inches and tell you tire sizes close to what you have. if anything convert it to inches then check sizes of 15" size until comparable.

245x.75 = 183.75 mm (sidewall height)
183.75x2 = 367.5 mm = 14.47" (Total amount of tire sidewall)
Total diameter = 14.47" + 16" (rim diameter) = 30.47"
Most 31's actually measure close to 30.5", so a 31x10.5R15 will be close to the same height, maybe a little taller and will be about 1/2"-3/4" wider as well.
245/80/15 Would be the exact same height and width.
