Rim specs
#5
To do it stock, without lifting you're going to need a rim with 6" of backspacing (factory on a 4x4) and your total rim+tire height can't be larger than 29" and width no more than 10" on a 7" or 8" rim. Anything bigger than that and you're going to have to lift. I ran 255/70 15's on factory rims at factory height without rubbing. That's a height of 29", and a tire width of 10". Much taller or wider than that would start rubbing on the back of the front fender when turning and compressing the suspension.
A t-bar and shackles lift will get you about 1.5-2" depending on how much you want to stress your front components. A body lift will get you 2" straight up. They're pretty easy to install on a 95-97 Blazer.
