Default Stole some tires, or did I get robbed

Hi
I have been looking at replacement tires lately. I do mostly highway travel, 2wd 4dr 2004 Blazer. Went in this morning planning on Mich LTX MS. Someone had ordered some Goodyear Fortenza Triple Tracs 235/70/15, the size I needed, but lost their job before they got there. The shop cut me a deal by taking their deposit off the price. As a result, I got 4 mounted, balanced with an alignment for just under $ 410. On top of that, I get a Goodyear rebate back. I think it's $ 20 per tire but will have to confirm.

On the ride home, they seem to ride well, they seem quiet, and they seem to handle pretty good. Did I do OK, or am I going to want to replace these things within a month?

the reviews for them say they are good for highway and dry road driving. I did see they aren't very good in snow and ice.

I should be ok then. We don't get much snow or ice in Alabama. Well, until this year.

The tread looks like it would wick water away pretty good too. Thanks

Thanks. And I used my Goodyear credit card, so I get double rebate, and no interest for 90 days. These tires have to be better than the Tigerpaws I took off, and they will end up costing me less.
