Default tire size

Hey guys, just wanted some other opinions.
I have an 04 blazer 4 door 4x4 with the stock 235/75/15s on it and its ready for some new tires. Now I'm caught between a couple sizes. First off I might want to put a small lift on it, 2 inches at most with a shackle/tbar crank. I know I could get away with 31s with minor rubbing if any at all. I do know with a tire that big I will loose some performance and mpg though. So like I said I would like some opinions. A few other sizes I'm considering are 30/9.5/15 and 255/75/15. Mainly I wanted something a bit taller to take up the space of the lift, but a bit wider as the snow here can get a bit crazy and I like to ride some trails. Anywho, would just like some thoughts of what I should do.
Thanks!

with my 4 door I needed 2 inch lift and 2 inch body lift to fit 31s. also a wider tire hurts you in the snow. it just plows the snow in front of it

i have a 2" body lift and cranked t-bars and shackles on mine and clear 31's with just a slight rubbing on frame at full crank.

Thanks for the input guys, I have a 95 Jimmy with 4 inches of lift (two body, two suspension) and I have 31s on it on offset rims and they dont rub unless I'm wheeling hard. Good point on the wide tire in snow Newguy. I think I'm just going to go with 30x9.5s and a slight lift. Thanks again
