Default Toyo Open Country A/T?

Hi all ,

Do any of you have personal experience with Toyo tires and specifically their Open Country A/T tires?

It is time for new ones and my preliminary thoughts are that they could work for me.

I would get 30x9.5R15s and my driving consists of daily driving when there is snow and ice in town, towing my boat in the summer, going on logging roads and unimproved roads for fishing and hunting in the summer and winter. I do not do anything close to rock-crawling but I want a good grip in mud and snow on pavement or dirt roads.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I love Toyo tires. I'm on my second set of Open Country MTs on my Blazer, and I've been running the same set of ATs on my Super Duty for a few years now with no complaints. In my experience, the MTs aren't that great in the snow, but the ATs are very good. Both wear very well.

Perfect, this is exactly what I needed to know!

Some other poking around about them has me very much leaning to getting the TOYO A/Ts.

I just took a look at the ones I have, and they're Open Country "Xtreme", if that makes any difference. In any case, I've been very happy with them. And I don't know if it's important to you, but I like that they're American-made.

Thanks for checking. And it is always a plus if also made in the States.
