Default trailblazer 16'' fit blazer?

will factory/oem rims from a trailblazer fit a 95 blazer 4wd 4door? also if not i will just go to pepboys and get 16'' rims that will fit. i got 235 75 15 size tires on my blazer now. what would be the same size tire as i got on but 16'' tire size? would it look better to get tires that come compare to 235 70 15. 75 is a bigger circle than 70.

I'm guessing you're talking about the GMT 360 trailblazer, in which case, no the wheels won't fit. You'll also be hard pressed to just go buy a set of 16" wheels that will fit. Hopefully the parts store will have a decent fitment guide that factors all the necessary geometry in to choosing a wheel (bolt pattern, backspacing, etc).

Tires are kind of the same story. Trying to stick with the same diameter would ease up problems in regards to speedometer, odometer, etc. There's a ton of tire size calculators out there to help you pick a tire that would have a similar diameter and width.

I'd recommend some research on your part before you open your wallet.

you can find blazer fitting wheels from the T/A - camaro vette and etc for pretty cheap in 16" sizes.

i picked my T/A wheels for 250 with rubber from craigslist, cleaned em up real good sprayed em and threw some meatier rubber on them and have had no issues at all.

for what its worth: camaro and firebird - vette wheels share the same bolt and backspacing as the s-series 4x4's, many other wheels fit our trucks too just takes lots of hunting

double check your door to be sure you have the 235/75/R15's, and not the 235/70/R15's (both were available).

going with the 75 series..............a 235/70/R16 is the closest size (0.28% diameter difference)

FYI, there is 3.19% difference in diameter between a 235/75/R15 and a 235/70/R15.

dam i wish i would have heard about the camaro stuff before i bought my new rims and tires. 16" tires are considerably more less expensive than the 15". i went to az. i had two blow outs and cracked a wheell in the middle of the desert 110 degrees, went looking for some used tires and that was imposible thay are getting hard to come by any more unless ya buy em new , every one is running 16 and up. new 235 75 15 were almost 200 a piece for good 6 ply tires, the 16s were 120 i want to run 16s but i just spent 1100 on wheels and tires. now im bumed guess i should be checkin the blazer forum more often that will teach me hugh
