UPDATE: Still debating....
I bought a set of the new Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmors (with the Kevlar in them), LOVED them. But, the tread pattern was a lot like the BFG A/T and my fuel mileage dropped a ton. Replaced them after two months with Goodyear Fortera SilentArmors, fuel economy came back. Brilliantly quiet, great traction in all weather, would strongly reccommend. The Fortera isn't very aggressive, but I drive 90% Interstate. The Wrangler SilentArmor looked a lot better!
I bought the bfg at's for my blazer because I have read that they are pretty decent all around and good in snow. I just noticed as well that the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements (and are branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol). Only a couple sizes aren't.
UPDATE:: Well, I did it. I got the bfg a/t's installed today and I love them. On my way home, I tried to get it loose in some snow and it wasnt really happening. Problem Solved, Thanks everyone
