Default Upgrade Tires

Hey Folks, I have an 05 4x4 2 Dr Blazer, and need some new tires, and looking to upgrade / change the current tire to larger / wider ones. Any suggestions? The current tire size is P235/70/R15 and just wandering if I could go to a R265/75/R15 ? Or any other suggestions.

I do know that some places will only install original tire size on the vehicle.. Does any know a good place that will install larger tires on my vehicle in the Niagara Falls NY Area?

Thanks

265/75 will be a very tight fit. Many people bump up to 30x9.5 (no common metric equivalent) without any problems. In order to fit 265/75 (which is just a hair smaller than 31x10.5), you'll need to lift the vehicle some.

I'll move this thread to the tire/wheels section and if you look around there, as well as the lifting tech section, you'll be able to find a lot of information about oversized tires and lifting.

Try some 255/70's. They come out to almost the same diameter as a 235/75 but look beefier.
