Default Valve Stems

Hey guys, I just bought some BFG 30/9.5R15's and ordered some black Cragar Soft 8's and I was wondering what valve stems I should get, and also, if they're all one standard size or if you have you get specific ones for specific wheels.

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

there are two different sizes. i would think it would say somewhere on there what size you need. but you can always take one to autozone or somewhere and show them the hole

Are you planning on mounting the tires on the rims yourself?

If so, I don't recommend it just from the question you asked.

If not, don't worry about it as the tire shop will provide the valve stems as part of the mounting fee.

Alright, well, I don't have the rims, just ordered them from Summit Racing and there it says nothing about what size it is, just says that the stems are not included.

I'll probably just have Farm 'n Fleet put some valve stems on when I have them mount and balance the tires.

Edit: Definitely not mounting them myself, much easier to have a shop mount/balance them for you.

Also, another simple question, if you mount them yourself, can you still take them to a shop to have them balanced? Or does a shop have to do the mounting AND balancing?

you really cant mount them yourself. if you dont have a machine you have to use like giant spoons and/or prybars it sucks ive done them before. but yeah you can just bring them in and have them ballanced
