Yep they'll work. Tire size should be within 4' or so of the rim width.

Let me beat a dead horse...[sm=icon_beat.gif]

Many wheel sizes are in Standard (American) units, where your tires are in metric. Your size means that the tire is 235mm wide. The sidewall height is 70% of the width. The r means Radial, and the 15 is your wheel diameter. If your wheel is smaller than that 235 mm (about 9.3in) you should still be alright. The closer you get to that magic 235 the weaker your bead, if I remember correctly; and, your tire starts to look more triangular from the rim. Like this: /_\. In the future, if you're curious, just divide the first number by 25.4 and that'll tell you the width in inches. If It's bigger than your wheel, you should be good.
