so what youre saying is that the more backspacing the better it is for your differential. and the less backspacing the more the tire will stick out? i think im going to go withSynergy Offroad just because thats what everyone seems to recomend, thanks all...now onto tires, what's the biggest i could go with a 2 inch body lift, 2 inch shackles and a 1.5 inch t-bar crank...which raises another question, is a 1.5 tbar crank going to do any damage?

hey would a 15x8 rim with 4 inch backspace tear up my hub bearings you think cuz those get a little pricey

I have a stock 2002 zr2 blazer and i was wondering what size tires i could maxout without rubbing

Because of your flares and what not...a ZR2 cannot go any bigger than the stock 31x10.50 without modifications. If you go up to a 32x11.50, you have to either crank the tbars or trim the flarettes.
A 32x10.50 might fit...but thats not really any improvement over a 31, and you'll still probably rub if you offroad at all.
The best bet is to just get a body lift and run 33s
