2004 Trailblazer headlight bulbs
I would like to replace the headlight bulbs in my 04 Trailblazer, but am unable to figure out how. I have searched the forums. this is my third Blazer, I am aware of the two tabs on each side, although the outermost one on each side is horribly placed and hard to get at. That said, it looks like the front grille has to come off to replace the bulbs, headlamps and turn signals appear to be one big unit. Any ideas on what I am missing?

Finally figured it out. Front Grille has to come off first. There are four clips on the top, wedge a flat blade screwdriver directly between the grille and frame it mounts to at location of each clip, twist screwdriver to pull out clip. There are five clips in the second row down, one under Chevy emblem, two at each end under blue side piece. I gently pulled most out, while prying with screwdriver, but busted one trying to remove it. I believe there were four clips on the bottom row, gently pulled them out. Set grille aside. Two tabs to lift behind each headlight assembly, I needed to use leverage to lift the two outside ones. Tilt assembly up and pull out enough for access. Remove rubber cap to gain access to bulb. Twist and remove bulb holder, remove old bulb. Insert new bulb, DO NOT touch it with your bare hands, it will greatly reduce its life. Installation is the reverse. Hope this helps someone else. Reply if you have questions.
