Default Air ride suspension issue

In have an 03 Envoy XL and for the past few weeks the air ride pump will go for a longer period of time than normal at startup(say about 30 seconds to 1 min) but everything seemed fine. The other morning I woke up and the rear of the truck was down about 2-3 inches although still above the tires and while the pump still runs when you turn the truck on, it doesn't raise. Both sides are equally low.

Am I likely looking at the pressure release valve or supply lines failing since both sides are equal?

Is it okay to drive the vehicle in the interim? As I said it's not riding on the tires by any stretch...just looks funny.

I don't have the tools, confidence or space to do this myself and would likely have to take it to a dealer...how much would I be looking at roughly(in canada)? Should I just convert the air system to standard springs and be done with it?

thanks!

You probably have a ruptured air bladder or maybe just a line leak.
If the dealer says that its gonna be a ton of money to fix then I would look into a regular spring conversion... this (for example) is a very common thing to do on Lincoln Town cars.

So is there any air left in the system? I am going camping this weekend and at the moment it's driveable but if there is air that will drain out under more weight then I need to fix it before I go.

If you have a leak, chances are it will drop further. I would start spraying down the hoses/bags/compressor with soapy water and see if you can find the leak.

the good part is, is that most cadallacks have air suspensions and some of the pumps do cross over as far as fitment, I have a 2000 envoy with air suspention and the compessor poop out, and went salvage hunting, save $600 bucks, 700 and change at the dealer
