Vent Valve on Gas Tank
#3
Do I need to drop the tank again?
I changed the pump yesterday (while the tank was out, I cut an access hole in the floorboard to make future maintenance easier. I did not nick a line. 5000% sure.) While the tank was out, I installed a new vent valve btw. It was super tight when last seen.
My question is:
Do I have to pull the (now full) tank out again in order to change the valve?
It's a 97 4 door 4 wheel drive Blazer.
Thanks in advance.

Plastic tank?
if so there is a replacement part for it if you need to replace it.
GM P/N #15640448 - Rollover Vent Valve, can be had on Rockauto for super cheap. havent gotten around to replacing mine yet.. its been laying in the rear drivers door cupholder lol.

Now that I finally got her running, it's either a leaky tank, a line from above the tank, or I broke the vent off. I'm leaning heavily toward the vent tube.
