Removing a stuck knock sensor

Removing a stuck knock sensor
My blazer caught on fire during the summer. 95 four wheel drive with the 4.3 passenger side knock sensor between the spark plugs is the problem Just about ready to put the thing back on the road but when hooking up everything I found the knock sensor was not correct fitting. After a closer look the center of the sensor would turn and more, got a new sensor and tried to take the other one out. The outer part of the thing ripped off and all I am left with is the stud in the block.
Anyone got any good ideas besides the following. Easy out and tons of penetrating oil, some heat put to it and last resort try to turn it out with a cold chisel.
I am open to any ideas.
Thanks for any help.

I got that sucker out! Tried a stud remover first then went the way of the easy out. Drilled it all the way into the coolant then used the easy out to back it out with the aid of a 2 foot long piece of tubing over the ratchet handle. Got the thing all back together and drive it today.
