Default I need help with LT1 SWAP

Hello,

My friend has a 1994 k1500 blazer. Its the full size one that looks like a tahoe but is actually as a blazer. It has the 350 TBI in it. His engine is at like 230k miles and he is looking to get a refresher of everything.
I found a 81k LT1 1994 engine and transmission for 1800 online. Im trying to convince him to get that.

My question to you is, how hard of a swap is this and what is involved as we have access to alot of tools and are both knowledgable with immediate friends who are mechanics. It's something that we really want to do to his truck. Thanks

If it were me, I'd rebuild what you have and go with some aftermarket parts. Intake, cam, headers, and definitely refresh the heads. If he has some money left over, go for a fuel injection swap. Edlebrock makes a pretty good 4 barrel TBI induction setup.
