Where is the Mass air flow sensor located on a 1992 blazer s10 4.3l?
I've been reading about hesitation and to check the MAF, but I'm not sure where to look for it ?
Thanks .

Your truck does not have a MAF sensor. The MAF started on the '96 Vortec motors. Korey

I cannot believe your going to let him hang like that. [sm=chairshot.gif]
He may not have a MAF, but he does have a MAP. Manifold Absolute PRESSUE sensor.
On the 4.3L CPI engine it is located on the top drivers side of the intake manifold. Has a couple of bolts holding it in place and a wire harness that comes up from under it.
The MAP was replaced by the MAF.

Hanr3, I did not mention the MAP sensor because he was talking about a hesitation problem, and the chances the MAP causes the hesitation is very rare, so I did not tell him about it. Also the MAF did not replace the MAP, it just works with it now, our '96 and newers still have a MAP sensor also. Korey.

I guess I should have read everything. Not sure what I was thinking. My appologies.
