1st gen stock head unit question...

Ok, I've had this problem with my deceased 89 and now my 94... No matter what I do when installing an aftermarket stereo, it always looks stupid with it protruding out of that dash and it always wobbles around thanks to GM for using cheap plastic for their interiors and not having adequate clearance for a single DIN stereo to be properly installed. Since the 94 is my beater, I've opted just to find a STOCK Delco CD player and put it back in. (The truck had an Alpine in it when I bought it and I transplanted the Blaupunkt from my 89 into it.
My question is.. Was/is there an AC Delco head unit in the 1st gens that had a CD player or were they all AM/FM cassette? Obviously due to the mounting depth restriction I need to know if there is any AC Delco unit I could find that would work, if so, what vehicle would it be out of? I'm assuming Bravadas, maybe full size trucks, Monte Carlos, etc....
