2.8 to 3.4 Swap Question

I just joined this forum hoping to find a little tech help. I have an 88 S10 Blazer 4x4. I am doing a 2.8 to 3.4 swap. I started to assemble the engine the other day and realized the throttle body intake manifold starts to cover what looks like a cam sensor hole on top of the engine. The engine came from a 94-95 camaro, cant remember which year. I removed all of the sensor before it went to the machine shop. My question is 1) since it starts to cover the whole a little can I grind back the intake a little to make it clear and just clip the wires from the old sensor and leave it there or is there a cleaner way to fill that hole? Any ideas would be appreciated, and thank you ahead of time.

I hope it works out well. This thing is built far better than what comes from the factory. Everything has been replaced. The only thing that is going to be reused is the intake I had bored out and the throttle body. I just hope my comp cams rockers fit under the Fiero valve covers without a problem.
